The Canton Fair, the full name of China Import and Export Fair (China Import and Export Fair), is a national and international comprehensive trade exhibition hosted by the Ministry of Commerce of China. It is one of the important Windows of China's opening up. Since its establishment in 1957, the Canton Fair has become an important platform for the import and export of China's household furnishing, home appliances, building materials, machinery, electronics, toys, food, textile and clothing and other commodities, as well as one of the important occasions for international trade promotion and cooperation.
The Canton Fair is held in spring and autumn, divided into three phases, each for five days. The exhibition area is more than 1.2 million square meters, with more than 200,000 kinds of exhibitors, more than 20,000 exhibitors, and more than 200,000 visitors, covering enterprises and commodities from all over the world. The Canton Fair aims to promote the development of global economy and trade and promote economic cooperation and exchanges between China and the world through exhibitions, trade negotiations and information release.
